Description The flow of the rhythms from Africa to the Caribbean is the focus of this year's eight-week in-school music residency program. Students will delve into the rich history of the music of African/Caribbean culture and compose their own songs and stories. Students participating in this activities-based program will attend a performance at BAM on May 16, 2003 by a visiting dance company from the Caribbean (Resurrection Dance Theater of Haiti) in conjunction with DanceAfrica, BAM's celebration of African and African-American culture.
