The exciting Ballet Hispanico of New York, under the artistic direction of Tina Tamirez, features a young and dynamic company of dancers drawn directly from the Spanish-speaking communities of New York City. They are endowed with a rich heritage of dance forms from Spain, Puerto Rico, Haiti, Mexico, Cuba, Latin America, as well as modern American and Afro-American Jazz -- combined to form sparkling and pulsating repertoire of dances.
