Description Grades 3-9. SIng America! is a musical revue in song, dance, and story. In ten scenes, it encapsulates through traditional songs of each period, dance and narrative drama, the history of America's first hundred years, from Colonial times to homesteading. Each scene deals with a major historic development. The music of Sing America! is traditional North American melodies. Words are sometimes a collage of many versions of a song, often new words in authentic style, to tell the story.
