Description Meredith Monk: An Artist and Her Music presented four of Monk’s vocal pieces from the mid 1980s, and included the world premiere of “The Ringing Place,” a choral piece for nine voices, and “Duet Behavior,” a duet between Monk and vocal virtuoso Bobby McFerrin (who the following year would make his breakthrough into pop culture with the Grammy Award-winning song “Don’t Worry, Be Happy”).
