Description With choreography directed by Lucinda Childs and performed by her ensemble, the Lucinda Childs Dance Company, the performance of Dance mixed both live and prerecorded music by the Philip Glass Ensemble with a film directed by Minimalist artist Sol LeWitt (in collaboration with noted cinematographer Lisa Rinzler). Dance was the last powerhouse collaboration of the 1970s to grace BAM’s Opera House stage, and a notable forerunner of the Next Wave sensibility.
