Description Dogs is an evening-length dance that incorporates the work of an architect and a sculptor. The work is allusive in meaning and abstract, with many references to ownership, luxury and stardom. Five performers dance in and outside of Claude Wampler’s spiraling sculpture and Dominic Cullinan’s cages, stencils and spheres; at the end, they perform a requiem by longtime collaborator composer Mike Iveson. This piece was created specifically for the Harvey Theater, where it premiered in 2006.
