Description BAM Education & Humanities is pleased to present a spirited performance by student poets and professional spoken word artists in celebration of the thrid anniversary of the Brooklyn Reads Poetry Residency. Tonight's performance will feature students from the five schools that participated in the residency and the teaching artists who guided them through the program.
Special perfromances by the students from the following high schools: Brooklyn High School of the Arts, Brooklyn International High School, Urban Assembly School for Music and Art, New York Harbor School, Benjamin Banneker Academy. Teaching Artists: Chia-Ti Chiu, Akil Dasan, Baba Israel. Bets by Qool DJ Marv.
