Description In this new evening of dance by Douglas Dunn, eight members of his company and Dunn himself weave steps through Bach’s Cello Suites, performed live by Ha-Yang Kim. The subterranean feel of the piece is complemented by Andrew Jordan’s darkly elegant costuming and the magical lighting of Carol Mullins. Aidos is the Greek goddess of shame. Civil personal behavior and exquisite non-narrative dancing generate shadowy forces of opposition. The piece asks the question: Where is the chagrin in propriety?
