Description Up-and-coming African American choreographer David Rousseve and his company, REALITY, join up with acid jazz queen Me'Shell NdegeOcello, gospel singer B.J. Crosby and filmmaker Ayoka Chenzira to create a multi-media musical exploring the history of the black man in America. The second in his Dream Series, The Whispers of Angels is ultimately a celebration of hope. As Rousseve says, "This work is about faith in our dreams, faith in history, faith in ourselves, and faith in the voices that whisper in the night."
