Description Emma Goldman spoke at BAM on February 15th, 1934, two weeks after she entered the United States on a 90 day visa to lecture on her autobiography, Living My Life. This tour marked Goldman’s only visit to the US after she was deported in 1919 along with 247 other “alien radicals.” Anarchist, writer, nurse, feminist, and advocate for workers rights, birth control, and freedom of expression, Emma Goldman fought for “everybody’s right to beautiful, radiant things.”
