Description In celebration of the ten-year partnership between BAM and the Bedford Stuvesant Restoration Corporation, more than 3,000 students have been given the opportunity to study the performing, visual, and literary arts and cultural histories of several countries in Africa and the African Diaspora. This year's program focuses on Peru and Afro-Peruvian culture. The five-month program culiminates in public performances on Restoration's plaza, on BAM's mainstage in DanceAfrica, and in a sculpture exhibit in the BAM Garden.
