Description Grades 1-6. The production is laced with songs, dances, and the Piper's special brand of magic. The general atmosphere of the play is lighthearted, but serious moments and dramatic issues are not side-stepped. In the mounting of this production a great deal of attention has been paid to period detail: the sets and costumes are designed to recreate the flavor of the age of the German Renaissance.
