Description Grades PreK-3. A boy with a special gift for animals, a lion with a thorn in his paw, a good deed and their famed encounter in ancient Rome teach a lesson or two about kindness and the strength of friendship. Geared especially for young children, Androcles and the Lion is an interactive, participatory re-telling of a favorite fable.
