Description Young Readers and Writers Series. Grades PreK-3. King Babar's birthday is coming but it seems as though his friends have forgotten. When the King of the Rhinoceroses wants to steel Babar's throne, he kidnaps his friends. Babar saves them while learning the true meaning of friendship as his rescued friends throw him a surprise birthday party. This musical is based on the beloved Brunhoff characters.
