Description Maverick composer/reed instrumentalist John Zorn plays host to a music spectacular featuring the combined forces of 25 downtown musicians paying tribute to the innovative and highly influential Italian composer Ennio Morricone, who is best known for his more than 200 film scores (including all of the Sergio Leone classics). John Zorn will interpret some of Morricone's best work with the help of a remarkable line-up of talent including guitarists Fred Frith, John Harris, Arto Lindsay, and Robert Quine; drummer Anton Feier; Christian Marclay (turntables); and a 4-piece Brazilian percussion ensemble.
