Description With an impressively diverse list of collaborators Ralph Lemon created Geography, the first installment of the Geography Trilogy, which investigates the relationship between identity, memory, discovery and place. For the first installment Lemon took an extended research trip to West Africa to study various movement traditions, and to interview Africans about their relationship with their continent and ancestry. The end result was an assemblage of voices and impressions, with contributions from performance poet Tracie Morris, Spanish sound artist Francisco Lopez, DJ Spooky, and visual artist Nari Ward.
