Description Our show:
A radio play by Samuel Beckett-a multilayered composition of voices that can be experienced as a black comedy, a murder mystery, a cryptic literary riddle, or a quasi-musical score.
Sights and Sounds:
The audience will be listening from rocking chairs, seated between two sets of lights that create the impression of being between intense and interrogative sunlight and comforting moonlight.
My art is inspired by:
European directors' theater and French art-theater-the great French directors like Copeau, Dullin, Jouvet, Lugné-Poë, and, of course, Artaud and Jarry.
Most exciting thing about radio plays:
Shared enjoyment. In the early days of radio, people couldn't afford one, so they'd go to other people's houses and listen together.
Preferred way to deal with the (supposed) meaninglessness of life:
You don't have to understand everything. You can feel things.
