Description My Show:
A lively, seriocomic performance, presented in the style of educational programs like Sesame Street, exploring the relationship of American popular culture, commerce, and the development of self-image.

Sights and sounds:
The Channel character (played by me) as host and pseudo-mystical shaman, plus colorful costumes, video projections, dance, a DJ set, music by Ramon Silva, and an interactive sculpture as the backdrop.

Personal epiphany experienced after taking a second look at the familiar:
Realizing the god-like role TV programs and commercials from my childhood has in making me.

New Muppet I would introduce on Sesame Street:
Professor Tap, inspired by Savion Glover. He'd wear academic regalia and spout brilliant quotes while he tapped.
