Performed by Arab actors under the auspices of the Beit Hagefen Jewish-Arabic Cultural Centre of Haifa, this cabaret-style show won the Fringe Theatre Award for Best Play at the Acco Festival in Israel. Based on the tale of a traveling group of actors, the performance is interwoven with ancient Arabic songs and legends, creating a drama with the richly varied texture of Arabian Nights, yet with the immediacy of life in the modern-day Middle East.
