Description Since its inception, the DanceAfrica Council of Elders has been an instrumental part of the Festival. In this roundtable discussion, members of the Council will discuss preserving the DanceAfrica legacy and how their personal work creates connections between the ancestors, the art and culture of Africa, its diaspora, and the community that gathers at BAM each year. In conjunction with the DanceAfrica Oral History Project launch, this conversation serves as a gathering point and opportunity for the DanceAfrica community to ask questions.
