Description In addition to the films, this year’s festival will include various free activities in the Opera House lobby, including face painters, balloon artists, walkabout entertainment—including illuminated, roving jellyfish puppets from Australian company Black Hole Theatre—and the opportunity to meet and greet the Hip-Hop Juggler, who will provide pre-film entertainment for the festival. There will also be special café performances by MOVE (NYC), Brooklyn Youth Chorus Men’s Ensemble, and the Fire Flame Steppers, the award-winning step group from the Performing Arts & Technology High School in the Lepercq Space. The Lepercq Space will also feature free with movie stub family-friendly activities including Stop-Motion Animation activities and two virtual reality film experiences curated by the Future of Storytelling: Rain or Shine—the interactive story of Ella on a sunny day in London with her new sunglasses—and Invasion!, the story of a pair aliens plotting to take over the planet only to be thwarted by two adorable creatures.
