Description As a follow-on to their DanceMotion USA℠ residency in Europe & Central Asia, David Dorfman Dance hosted Korhan Başaran Company, comprising rising stars of Istanbul's growing contemporary dance scene, as well as two Armenian guest dancers, Davit Grigoryan & Karen Khachatryan, for a month-long residency at the Bates Dance Festival in Lewiston, Maine. The two companies and guest artists created a collaborative piece that was performed in BAM's 2014 New Wave Festival.
