Description This event, a benefit for the Rosa and Raymond Parks Institute for Self Development, was sponsored by the offices of the Borough President and Assemblyman Roger Green, and hosted in the lobby of BAM, where a podium was set at the top of the stairs in front of the Natman Room. The event included a welcome from Harvey Lichtenstein, a vocalist, remarks from key community leaders, and a presentation of gifts to Rosa Parks herself, who was in attendance and delivered concluding remarks.
