In-School Residency: Shakespeare Teaches Students

Shakespeare Teaches Students is a companion in-school program to Shakespeare Teaches Teachers. In this eight-week residency with the BAM Teaching Artists who participate in Shakespeare Teaches Teachers, students will learn about Shakespeare's work by performing it. BAM Teaching Artists are accomplished actors and directors with years of experience in performing Shakespeare's work. They will work with you and your students to bring Shakespeare's language to life in the classroom through an exploration of historical context, character, and action. At the conclusion of the residency, all particpants attend a Shakespeare performance by the Royal National Theatre Education Department.
