Description Eight 45-minute workshops. In this eight-week residency with a BAM Teaching Artist, students will learn about Shakespeare's work by performing it. The BAM Teaching Artists are accomplished actors and educators with years of experience in performing and teaching Shakespeare's work. They will work with you and your students to bring Shakespeare's language to life in the classroom through an exploration of historical context, character, and action. These programs include a performance at BAM of Rome & Jewels, a dance work choreographed by Rennie Harris that was inspired by Romeo and Juliet.
