A dance program with narration, in English and Spanish, by young dancers for young audiences. Athletes in gym clothes open the program with sports steps to a jazz beat. Then the audience sees a dance classroom where basic exercises are taught. Next is a magic-carpet ride to Africa, the Caribbean, the Far East, and then into the land of the imagination as the musical story Peter and the Wolf comes to life in dance. The finale is classical ballet in costume to bring Ballet Crossroads to an end with a splash of color and elegance.
