Description Grades 1-9. The exctiing Ballet Hispanico of New York, under the artistic direction of Tina Tamirez, features a young and dynamic company of dancers drawn directly from the Spanish-speaking communtiies of New York City. They are endowed with a rich heritage of dance forms from Spain, Puerto Rico, Haiti, Mexico, Cuba, Latin America as well as modern America and Afro-American Jazz -- combined to form a sparkling and pulsating repertorie of dances.
