Description Grades K-3. Head a Tete is a funny and warm look at the need for harmony between different peoples. Two characters of different backgrounds and languages escape from a desolate world to a beautiful garden and take refuge under a tree whose branches unfold in a rainbow of colored lights. But they fear each other and divide the garden. Their suspicion and anger cause the tree to die, plunging the garden into darkness and cold. Then they learn the value of friendship and trust.
