Description Co-presented by The Jim Henson Foundation and BAMcinématek.
Led by animator and puppeteer Laurie O’Brien, this workshop teaches the history and craft of shadow puppet-making and storytelling. Students create their own stories and puppets, then participate in an original multimedia performance that integrates an animated background (created by O’Brien) with their puppet characters. Participants may take home their puppets after the workshop.
