Description Grades 9-12. 11 workshops. This program gives the next generation of cinephiles the chance to sharpen critical writing skills, engage in lively discussion about classic and new films, and meet prominent writers and film professionals. Previous guests have included A.O. Scott of The New York Times, Alison Bailes of Reel Talk, and filmmaker Debra Granik (Winter's Bone). Students craft a series of reviews and responses over the course of the workshop, and an anthology of student work is published at the end of the program.
