Description Grades 8-12. Students experience cross-cultural exchange in action in this dance performance, a collaboration between an Argentine troupe and a renowned New York dance company. Doug Varone and Dancers partnered with Brenda Angiel Aerial Dance Company as part of its DanceMotion USA℠ cultural diplomacy tour of South America. Now, in addition to performing works from their own repertories, the companies will present an entirely new piece that they have created together that melds two movement languages: choreographer Varone's explosive style and Angiel's sweeping airborne dance. Included with ticket: pre-and post-show classroom workshops with a BAM teaching artist, study guide, post-show discussion and Q&A.
