Description Hamlet BAMdialogues. Believed to be the play in the Western canon most written about throughout history, The Tragedy of Hamlet will be the focus of three BAMdialogue sessions. To provide context for Peter Brook's new version of the play, directors, performers, and scholars -- all of whom have created their own adaptations, performed key roles, or treated the play specifically in their writings -- will gather to wrestle with the play that tone critic called "the bottomless well."
