Description A collaboration between video artist Kit Fitzgerald and composer Peter Gordon, The Return of the Native is an impressionistic exploration of the ancestral roots of the artists. With a live 13-piece ensemble accompanying Fitzgerald’s stunning video images of locations from her and Gordon’s ancestral pasts (including Poland, Ireland, the American Southwest, and Brooklyn), the piece also featured psychadelically manipulated video of dancers Bill T. Jones and Arnie Zane.
