Description Grades 3-8. Little Crumb, a homeless boy in the Netherlands in the 1920s, has a knack for finding fun and getting into trouble. He sets out on an incredible journey with his loyal dog, Blackie, to find his parents and finally become part of a family. He undergoes many adventures, including being sent to a boys' home that is reminiscent of a setting from a Charles Dickets novel. This beautifully shot film was Holland's entry for the Academy Award® in 2000, and won the BAMmie for Best Feature Film at our own BAMkids Film Festival in 2002. In Dutch with English Subtitles read aloud by professional actors.
