Description From Bushwick to Brighton Beach, Brooklyn is home to innovative musical artists and a thriving music scene. In this BAMtalk, musicians, critics, and other cultural commentators examine the borough's role in shaping contemporary music. Panelists include Robert Elmes, founder and director of Galapagos Art Space; Amy Linden, music and culture critic and senior writer for XXL; Darrell M. McNeill, Associate Producer of Music Programming at BAM; Matthew Morgan, Rebel Music Management and Afro-Punk partner; and additional speakers and performers to be announced. Larry Blumenfeld, editor-at-large of Jazziz magazine, will moderate.
