Description The extraordinary way in which Ping Chong combines technology with visionary theatricality culminates in his newest work The Angels of Swedenborg. A combination of dance, theater, music, and audio-visual elements, it is almost ethereal in its beauty, clarity, and subtle power. Using the 18th century Swedish philosopher/scientist as his inspiration, Ping Chong parallels Swedenborg's quest for "the seat of his soul" with modern man's search for peace and humanity. Angels is much more than electronic wizardry, it is "a wonderfully poetic experience."
