Description In her BAM debut Belgian choreographer Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker led her ensemble, Rosas, through Rosas Danst Rosas. The evening-length piece won two Bessie Awards: one for the 26-year-old de Keersmaeker’s choreography, and the other for Remon Fromont’s lighting design. Rosas Danst Rosas has since become one of de Keersmaecker’s signature works, its energetic influence seen everywhere from the stage of La Monnaie to the videos of Beyoncé.
