Description Choreographer and composer Laura Dean returned to the Next Wave Festival in 1985 with her ensemble, Laura Dean Dancers and Musicians. The program was notable for its premieres, including the New York premiere of “Sky Light,” a piece with music composed by Dean herself, and the world premieres of pieces with music by Anthony Davis and Steve Reich (“Transformer” and “Impact,” respectively).
