Description A voluptuous young blonde lurches onstage, peels off her wedding gown, and slips into a bathtub. When her two identically attired sisters arrive, all three belt a defiant rendition of “You Don’t Own Me.” Classical Greek tragedy meets modern-day sexual politics in Big Love, a radical interpretation of Aeschylus’ The Suppliant Women, a play chronicling the travails of the 50 daughters of Danaus who flee Egypt to avoid forced marriage to their 50 cousins. Roll over, Aeschylus.
