Scope and Content Note: The BAM Posters Collection is part of the Brooklyn Academy of Music Archives at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. The collection remains among the most comprehensive records of the performing arts in the United States as the posters reflect the history of the oldest continuing performing arts centers in the country. Brooklyn Academy of Music's posters date from 1970 to the present. The collection is comprised of promotional posters for specific productions presented at BAM as well as artistic series such as the Next Wave Festival and DanceAfrica.
